What to Expect on Initial Consultation?
An initial consultation will takes approximately one hour.
Test Results to Bring
It's not necessary to bring any test results as the consultation is taken from a Chinese medicine perspective. Any recent medical tests such as, X-Rays, CT Scans, MRI Scans, blood test results and reports from your GP or specialist depending on your medical situation.
Traditional Chinese Medicine has some unique clinical examination techniques such as tongue, abdominal and pulse analysis.
What Treatment Is Included In The Consultation?
A consultation always includes Acupuncture. Cupping, Gua Sha, or Tuina (Traditional Chinese Massage) may also be included. Herbs cost extra.
How many sessions will I need?
Treatment strategies vary, however it depends on your condition and presentation. For simple recent conditions it is recommended to book four consecutive treatments. A chronic, serious condition can take three to six months.
Chinese Medicine can be very effective for treating a number of diseases. It takes time and patience it is important for the patient to understand this. Sometimes patients only need two treatments others four to six it always varies on the case. Our goal is to minimise follow-up appointments and empower our patients, educate and enable them to take responsibility for their own health as best they can outside treatments.
Cancellation Policy
We require 24 hours notice for cancellation of appointment. If you do have to cancel within 24 hours you will be charged for appointment.
